PFINGSTMOTOCROSS MURI 2025
My first time at a motocross event was an incredible experience, and it happened right here in my home canton of Aargau. It was thrilling to capture the dirt flying and the riders soaring through the air, giving their all each lap. The event was the Pfingstmotocross Muri, held on Pfingstmontag, June 9, 2025, organized by the MRSC Muri. The atmosphere was electric, with top riders from categories like the Swiss-Moto-Verband’s MX Yamaha YZ-Cup, MX 2, MX Masters, and MX Sidecar battling it out on the Aspipiste.
AARAUER STADTLAUF 2025
My first time at the Aarauer Altstadtlauf was an unforgettable experience, right in the heart of my home canton, Aargau. The vibrant energy of runners racing through the picturesque old town was a thrill to capture, each stride echoing determination. Held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, and organized by the Verein Aarauer Altstadtlauf, the event featured diverse categories like the 6 km main race, kids’ runs, and relay races, starting at Schlossplatz. The atmosphere buzzed with community spirit, as locals and visitors cheered on participants of all ages.
SCHWINGERFEST MENZIKEN 2025

SCHWINGERFEST WEISSENSTEIN 2025
It was my second Swiss wrestling event, Schwingen, and just as thrilling on the majestic Mount Rigi in central Switzerland. Capturing the intense matches in the sawdust ring, wrestlers grappling fiercely amid cheers from the crowd. The Rigi-Schwinget drew top athletes. Electric atmosphere at high elevation with panoramic lake and Alps views—one of the most popular mountain festivals. Day started with rounds, midday break, resuming to finals and awards. Gripping Schwingen (alpine tradition in burlap pants pinning on sawdust) plus 50kg stone-put competition. A wrestler claimed victory in the final bout, before thousands of spectators. Family-friendly fest with vibrant tent and grounds vibe, including alpine procession, folk music, and whip cracking; cogwheel train or cable car access, tickets often in high demand. Nod to its centuries-old history and volunteer spirit. Another action-packed blend of sport, tradition, and stunning scenery—definitely deepening my love for this Swiss cultural gem!
